Quick Updates

1. The new Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay book (and, by extension, I imagine the game itself) is excellent. Simple, colorful, exciting and enticing. I’m eager to play it.

2. I’m going to Macon, GA this weekend for some game-related demos and seminars. Macon was the home of the main Confederate arsenal during the end of the Civil War, but Gen. Sherman’s “March to the Sea” skipped it altogether. Back in the day, train cars full of Confederate dead would be unloaded from the track’s near Macon’s Rose Hill Cemetery… without stopping the train.

3. I have not purchased The Art of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, The West Wing: Season Four on DVD or tickets to Sin City. I’m just too busy with numerous books, conventions and other (as yet unannounced) projects. Also, the dog’s in classes now and the mother-in-law was just here, and these things take time and money.

That is all.

Don’t forget about kung fu hustle. I thought of you, Will, when I saw the trailer for it. In case you haven’t seen any commercials for it, it takes place in 1930s hong kong, I think. The bad guys who are trying to take over this tenement neighborhood are dressed in black formal suits with top hats, and they carry axes. It looks like a blast.
