Things Current and Upcoming
Scattershot, that’s what this is. I’m just going to quickly hit you with some of what’s happening now or is soon to come, and then get on with more regular blogging now that I’m back at my desk for maybe as much as a whole, straight month.
The Phone
Now this one seems to be busted, too. I think I bent it. The battery is loose, the phone won’t stay on, I’ve got some stress cracks in the outer display, and as you can see I ended up with a weird splatter of dead pixels. All I can figure is that I did this in the car, when it was in my pocket. Good times.
Everywhere Magazine
Issue #3 of Everywhere is on newsstands. This is our debut in the magazine and we’re quite excited. See a sneak peek of the issue at the Everywhere site. Or just by the damn thing. It’s a lovely magazine.
The Crystal Skull
Saw a midnight screening of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, but I cannot review it without spoiling it, so that’ll happen in another post, soon, which you can skip. Short version: I’ve yet to see a negative review that wasn’t also poorly informed or preoccupied with hating on this or that filmmaker for the sake of seeming superior. It is as much an Indiana Jones movie as any of the sequels are. And remember: When it comes to Indiana Jones, I know better than most schmucks on the internet.
Keep on the Shadowfell
I picked up the preview adventure thing for D&D 4th Edition, because I’ve been fascinated by the direction they’ve taken the design, and may well play the damn thing soon. Suffice it to say, here, that this little product is fascinating to look at for its design decisions alone. I’ll be writing about it over at Gameplaywright ‘ere long.
Gameplaywright
Oh, by the way, Jeff and I? We’re putting out a book under the Gameplaywright name. I will say no more about it for now.
Music: The Crystal Skull soundtrack

Glad to hear you enjoyed Indiana. I saw a midnight showing as well and thoroughly enjoyed it, even though I do have a thing against ants, thanks to a not-so-pleasant experience with fire ants in childhood.
